It is learned from Shandong Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development that in order to promote the development of the whole industrial chain of new building industrialization, and promote the transformation and upgrading and high-quality development of the construction industry, Shandong Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Shandong Provincial Development and Reform Commission and other departments jointly issued the Development Plan of Shandong Province for the Whole Industrial Chain of New Building Industrialization (2022-2030) (hereinafter referred to as the Plan).

The Plan focuses on improving the level of building industrialization, greening and intelligence, and comprehensively lays out the development of the whole industrial chain of new building industrialization in Shandong Province from 2022 to 2030. This paper expounds the guiding ideology and basic principles for the development of the whole industrial chain of new-type building industrialization in the future, and proposes that "by 2025, the proportion of newly started prefabricated buildings in the whole province shall reach more than 40% of the new urban buildings, among which, Jinan, Qingdao and Yantai shall reach more than 50%; By 2030, prefabricated buildings will account for more than 60 percent of new urban buildings in the province.

The Plan follows the principles of being forward-looking, scientific, systematic and operable, and adheres to overall planning, breakthroughs in key areas and a combination of innovation-driven development.
